What you will make:
The Seruni Dress is a modern classic with subtle structure and effortless charm. Patterns for bust size 80cm to 104cm are available. (Please get in touch with us first prior to registration if your measurements do not fit the bust size above.)
 
What you will learn:
How to lay out and cut fabric accurately
How to sew and attach a stand collar
Techniques for gathering and inserting an elastic waistband
How to finish armholes neatly using bias facing
How to create buttonholes and sew on buttons securely
 
Prerequisite:
Confident beginners
Completed at least one of our Samfu Top sewing workshops, or attended basic sewing workshops. 
 
Things You Need to Bring Along:
Medium weight woven fabric: 3 yard 
Matching threads
Bias tape: 2.5cm wide, 3 yard long
Elastic band: 8mm wide
Fusible interfacing for collar and placket
4 buttons: 11-12mm diameter
 
All other sewing tools & equipment will be provided at the class.
A soft copy of the pattern (with all sizes) will also be emailed to you after the class.
