Learn to sew your own sports bra! We will be making the Roxie Sports Bra by Madalynne Intimates at this workshop. The Roxie is a sleek, asymmetrical bralette that features a high neck overlay and wide bottom band. The pattern comes in the available sizes: band sizes 30-44 and cup sizes A/B, C/D, DD/E-F, G/H and I-J cups. (Refer on the image on sizes for more information. Click to see the full image.)

What you will learn:
- Overview of active wear fabrics, trims and more
- How to take basic body measurements and choose the right pattern size
- Fabric layout and cutting the pattern
- How to setup your own domestic machine to sew knits
- How to use a serger/overlocking machine
- How to construct the Roxie Sports Bra by Madalynne Intimates
Things You Need to Bring Along:
The workshop fee does not include the Roxie Sports Bra pattern. You are required to purchase your own Roxie Sports Bra pattern.
All other project material (including fabric and notion) and equipment will be provided at the class.
Suitable for:
Beginner sewists who have some experience sewing with knit fabrics. While not mandatory, students are recommended to attend our Sewing Knits: Ladies Tee class prior to attending this workshop.
+Class may be rescheduled if the minimum number is not reached.
Measurement Guide
- Under-bust measurement: Measure directly under your bust, holding the tape measure snug.
- Bust measurement: Measure over the fullest point of your bust. You can wear no bra, a sports bra or a lightly lined bra while measuring. Again, keep the tape measure level and snug all the way around.
